Senior Management

New Wave was founded in Sevenoaks back in 2003 by Kevin Whysall after working in the commercial audio-visual sector since 1993. Angus Murray joined as our Project Director in 2010 from a retail electronics company. With over 50 years of combined management experience, New Wave has evolved into one of the leading designers and installers of home automation, home cinema and lighting control companies in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and London.

Team

Our talented team of over 10 employees have some of the best training and experience the industry can offer. This investment of time and effort means we remain at the forefront of new home technologies. We are committed to delivering quality service at every stage of the project cycle from the first consultation, design stages, site installation and post-completion support.

London & Kent Showroom’s

In 2010, we relocated just outside Tonbridge to headquarters, which allowed us to offer customers and trade professionals a full demonstration of the technology we install. Our meeting space also allows us to consult with clients, architects, interior designers and construction companies, and we often give educational CPD courses to these professionals partners.

Tonbridge Experience Centre – In September 2022, we opened our new 3000 sqft facility consisting of offices, rack build and showrooms.

Battersea Showroom – In late 2022, we partner with Astounding Battersea and launch a London showroom in the heart of Battersea and Nine Elms. More info to follow very soon for this exciting new interior design lead experience centre.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Sue Fisher from Fisher ID at our Experience Centre. Here is what she had to say.

When AV first became an integral part of my job, it was alarming and I had no idea what was going on. It has been demystified by working with people like Angus at New Wave. When I bring clients here, their expectations are massively exceeded when they see the full extent of home automation that you can only understand if you come to an experience centre.

The earlier I start working with an AV specialist, the earlier I can think about integrating all of the kit I need to integrate to provide the client with the optimum solutions. Currently, working with technology is a given in all our projects, and I think that the appointment now of an AV specialist is just as necessary as the appointment of an interior designer.

Our history with Control4 started back in 2004 and each year we have continued to excel and are proud to be the 1st UK Pinnacle Diamond Dealer.

For over 12 years now we have worked with Artcoustic speakers delivering acoustically and aesthetically stunning home cinema and media rooms.

We represent the highest level in Custom Electronic Design and Installation standards. We are proud members and award finalists several times.
